Jeff Hays, Vice President of Simmons Bank
Jeff Hays currently serves as a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lender for SIMMONS BANK here in Springfield. He has been with Simmons since 2021 and prior to Simmons had worked for Commerce Bank and Legacy Bank.
A Springfield native, Jeff began his lending career in Dallas, TX in 1998 working as a CRE lender for General Electric (GE) Capital, MetLife Real Estate, and Credit Suisse. After moving with his family back to Springfield in 2008, Jeff sold and leased commercial real estate for R.B. Murray Company before resuming his lending career.
Currently, Jeff specializes in CRE loans greater than $5mm and covers Kansas City and St. Louis for Simmons as well as Southwest Missouri. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Kansas and has achieved the designation of CCIM (Certificate Commercial Investment Member), awarded by the CCIM Institute for expertise in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate.
Jeff and his wife Piki have two children, Cooper who is a junior at Missouri State University and Sophie, a junior at Glendale High School.
