About Us

T
he Greater Springfield Apartment & Housing Association ("SAHA"), over the many years as an association, has grown to encompass a vast network of members, the majority of whose experience ranges from ten to over thirty years in the single-family & multi-family industry, as well as those just emerging onto the scene who know the "wheel has already been invented."

The majority of our vendor members have been in service to those in the multi-family housing industry for well over ten years and have established strong networking bonds. Our ever-growing number of supplier members is evidence that SAHA provides networking opportunities in the form of service, participation and advertising.

Our board meets monthly, working to improve the quality and interests of our 100 members, who represent approximately 14,000 units in the multi-family industry in the Greater Springfield area. Our noon monthly meetings (with the exception of the summer months and December) provide the opportunity for relevant-to-the-industry education and are well-attended by our owner and supplier members. Throughout the year our members participate in events that benefit community and provide an opportunity for fellowship, networking and the opportunity to acknowledge industry peers.

Along with the benefit of a strong network, our members enjoy a free legal hotline, availability to utilize the NAA Click and Lease forms, NAA Education (NAAEI), advocacy alerts, concessions and other trends affecting property management in our membership area. All new members are invited to an orientation held each month before our monthly luncheons.

As an affiliate member of Missouri Apartment Association and National Apartment Association (www.naahq.org), we support a full-time lobbyist in Jefferson City who keeps your interests in mind. It is important to have a voice, and our lobbyist represents us by actively monitoring and promoting legislation affecting the multi-family industry in this time of exponential change. SAHA supports the NAA Code of Conduct - https://www.naahq.org/community-conduct-guidelines)
